BCM Joins “Personalized Medicine in Oncology 2020” Seminar - Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai EN

Major General Niwat Boonyuen, Director of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, delivered opening remarks at the "Personalized Medicine in Oncology 2020" academic seminar held by Oncology Center of Excellence and Chiang Mai Oncology Group (CMOG) during 14-15 November 2020 at Kantary Hills Hotel and Serviced Apartments.

The "Personalized Medicine in Oncology 2020academics seminar held to help spread academic knowledge and new evolution in oncology, as well as a forum for the exchange of experience in cancer treatment among doctors. A team of cancer specialists from Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai participated in discussions on a variety of topics. For example, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Sumitra Thongprasert discussed “Symposium II: Evolving the Treatment Practice in Stage IV EGFRm NSCLC” and “Stepping for Curative Intent Approach in Stage III NSCLC”. Moreover, Dr. Witthawat Ariyawutyakorn lectured “What's the best management of Immunotherapy toxicity?”. Besides, there were lectures from other cancer specialists. It shows that the event is a stage for enhancing knowledge, abilities, and skills in treating cancer patients more effectively. Consequently, at the event, it receives the attention of doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and medical personnel, which more than 100 participants attending the academic conference.
