Congratulations to the Dental Department of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai on the occasion of receiving a certificate recognized as "Chiang Mai Quality Dental Clinic” at the Chiang Mai Dental Fiscal Year 2021 academic conference entitled, "New Normal New Dental Service Model". Dr. Pawak Tungthangthum, a dentist, was a representative to receive the certificate at The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel.
In addition to the intensive Covid-19 screening following the safety standards of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, the Dental Department of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai has adjusted the measures to increase air quality and reduce the risk of infection according to the dental practices in the COVID-19 pandemic announced by the Dental Council, such as aligning the direction of air movement in the dental room by increasing ventilation with outdoor air as well as producing an air treatment system for controlling infection by utilizing high-efficiency air filters, HEPA filtration. It is to increase the standard of infection prevention and control systems during dental procedures. Besides, there is a restriction on floor disinfection according to the BDMS hospital standard, an international standard.
